This website: http://www.sweclockers.com/nyhet/16402-nvidia-gor-geforce-titan-med-kepler-gk110 Claims it'll sell for 899 USD. Yikes. Should be interesting to watch.
Well, just updated to a 680 so i wont get anything new for a few years. 6GB vRam sounds kinda overdone to me, imho.
eh?!? why would I want to do this? not sure I follow this remark. Anyways back on topic, as I see a pointless discussion about whether I can lock my fps to 30 or not hardly interesting. I prefer to play @60fps personally... That said farcry3 and hitman abs have taxed my setup a bit (we're talking 40 or so fps) which isnt ideal. Def not something to lose sleep over, I will be upgrading next gen though for the odd game which I will really want to play and perhaps struggle with. Might have to do the cpu as well but 4ghz might just be enough...
Lol now the courage very much into the shoes back cases to tweakers. The_mask, werelds, A87 MADMAXNL, Astennu, tomcatha all AMD fanboy's
I would still take a 384/768 core version of it for my HTPC. Oh, and a 4992(2x 2496)? core version for my main Rig. So I can play HM:A @3840x2160 with 8xAA.
The question is more at what clock.. cause the tesla K20 at 706mhz just do 3.52Tflops SP. Taking in account the spec given are the one of the K20x ( 235W ) i hope they can remove some SP ( second SMX disabled ( GK110 have 2880SP but one SMX disabled on Tesla K20 ).. and push the enveloppe to 250-260W.. for get at least 850mhz pushing 4+ Tflops. lets hope the card is not 900$ as rumored
My prediction +50% over 680: http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4506377&postcount=101 http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4506457&postcount=103
