Did you have Diagnostics & Usage to automatically send? If so you may want to turn it off after you have put the beta back on. I upgraded OTA from the previous Beta and haven't had any problems like that. But I disable sending any usage stuff.
It' is an iPad 4 and it did great minus the bugs: hulu not auto starting the next show multitasking not working after a day copy and paste would not work between tabs in safari status bar would get stuck and not rotate with screen a few other that I can't remember off the top of my head Apple sent out an activation signal if your device was not linked with a dev account it would deactivate. I can't recall if i had it on or off but its all okay now I'll wait for the official release.
I installed Beta 5 two days ago and I'm loving it. There are a couple of bugs that you'll notice here and there but its forgivable since its still beta and will obviously be fixed in GM. The fluidity and the general feel of the OS is great, but it is a bit too white for my tastes but I can live with it. I just wish the 3D Parallax had some options for configuration like Deep End on a jailbroken iDevice. Anybody else notice improvements in battery life? This morning I had 19 hours of standby and 3 hours of usage with 52% remaining.
Negative, it expired. The betas aren't good forever, you have to stay up to date. They are only good for about a month after release, then they expire and you are stuck. Always have to stay up to date through the process. Apple doesn't remotely require an activation.
OK. here's the change log Well since you can't get the profile update officially you can do the following: Go to the link below from your device https://atfdl.com/file/resetmusicandvideolibraries/ NOTE: resetting the media profile will delete all your music and playlists off your device Follow the above instructions in the quote box. Once you reset the media library it's going to take a min or 2 before the reset successfully icon to pop up. So don't worry if it doesn;t show up right away. Turn off your device, then turn it back on. Once the apple icon shows up, it will take a few mins to boot back up. It will seem like the device has hung up, but it hasn't. It took about 4 mins before my iPod Touch booted back up. If you had any music prior, just reload it back up and you should be good to go after that.
alright give me a sec and let me see if I can find the link EDIT: the video below shows you what to do but the links are in the about section http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPyQxSozAwM&feature=youtu.be Since you're going straight to Beta 6, then you can disregard my previous post.
It looks like iOS 7 might be available to the public on September 10th http://www.theverge.com/2013/8/26/4...-to-the-public-on-september-10th-according-to
It appears that flashing this will wipe your device. So if you do install this, back your stuff up first.
I Just Updated my Ipad Mini a while a go..It didn't wiped my iPad Mini but just a warning to everyone who will install ios 7 GM, u can't use iTunes anymore to sync your device unless you are using iTunes 11.1 which is only available in Mac..
