Nvidia Forceware 177.39 + NVIDIA physX 8.06.12

when its working here is what it looks like.

 

I wonder what the effect on framerates are. The CPU is doing less work so maybe CPU centric games like FSX might get a boost if they use physix ;p. Or you might get worst performance because your GPU is crapping out.

 

Even though I test nearly every driver I'm just loving 177.35!

Since theres no 8800gtx support I'll be skipping this one and wait patiently for the next version.

Hopefully in a few weeks everything will be worked out and run properly

I only have "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas" from that list anyway so is nearly useless for me right now.

Re-testing Cell-factor maybe interesting?

my video card was not supported.
i said in this very thread how i made mine work.

i have an 8800gts 512 (g92) which is not supported and its working just fine and dandy.
except my tv-out of course.

 

Are you going to upload the Vista x64 version later, YellowDart18? The German web site tells me that I already reached my download limit (???), so I can't download it myself.

 

hope someone can mirror vista x64 when they download the new one that is not corrupted hope these will work fine as well with folding gpu

Does this fix the broken blu-ray playback on 177.35? I want to be able to fold, and watch my blu-ray discs!

 

Supposed to be 77MB, ended at 55MB.

Gets corrupt message when trying to extract.

I am able to get to some of the files that would extracted.

What files do we need from this so that we can use the rest of the files from the Vista 32bit version?

installing drivers now.. im getting missings files looks like many .dll's. im running 8800gt 512mb.. anyone else having missing files during install. im just hititng cant and continue without installing file.. normal becuase of the modded inf? or am i wrong? help me out

I got them running now.. My problem was i wasnt restarting in safe mode then running guru3d driver sweeper! thanks driver sweeper!!

1. Add remove programs. remove nvidia display driver reboot
2. boot into safe mode run driver sweeper reboot
3. install drivers with modded inf wohla
4. BTW my aqua mark score went from 110000 to 107000 crysis benchmark is 2 fps lower o well im bottlenecked on a 939 4000+ single core

bit of a noob question but how do you open the PhysX control panel as per g000fy's screenies??

First impressions, MoH:Airborne "seems" to be a sh1teload better, need to run the demos to confirm though.

any chance you can reg mod the physx drivers to work on 8x cards? (local machine / software / ageia ?)

 

PhysX seems to work with the 177.35 drivers.

Billabong, I assume you are using Vista 64bit.

Go to control panel, and double click "view 32bit applets". Its in the list with all your other control panel items.
