try play movie with media player clasic on 2e screen with 60 hz
and main screen on 59 hz with bug.
let game go full screen asswell for me media player clasic just freezes.

if i force 60 hz on my main screen then this aint a problem anymore.

thats a CODEC bug, not a 59hz bug.

Why are you running MPC at 60hz anyway, 59 or 24hz are better for most NTSC or BluRay sources.
Also does the same movie crash in WMP when you do the same thing?

its probably a bug in the codec then, not the player.

no thats not a codec bug its side effect off 59 hz bug.
cous refresh rate changes when launching a game.
if i force 60 hz i dont have this.

    and y i use mpc.
my 2e screen works fine at 60hz to.

your simply not listening to the facts of the matter.

WINDOWS PERSISTS 59HZ REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ITS 59 or 60

The problem is in the Codec. MPC works fine with 59hz. To prove this, i just forced my display to 59hz in both XP and Windows 7 (i can disable DDC in my screen luckily) And i was able to watch my Eureka 7 DVD rip just fine... Xvid video codec.

I use the refresh force utility so that I have the highest refresh rate for every resolution at all times.

So ... can we forget the bickering and get back to what I originally asked and can someone provide a list of games that fail due to this issue?

Windows itself limits and persists 59hz. No matter what application you use to lock the refresh rate, IT WILL PERSIST 59Hz.

    Your posts? no not anymore.

I listed some in the initial post.

Thankyou, shame about BF games, I do enjoy those still, but hopefully that can be remedied as mentioned with a patch of some sort.

The other two mentioned I never play anyway, world in conflict or company of heroes (I assume it wasnt city of heroes :p)

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting that it did not.

you were suggesting that refresh force could work around this in games.

    It does not.

I was going to suggest that applesauce is yummy with pork chops, but it's unfortunately too far off topic.

Read the quote in the original post.

whether you set 59 or 60hz, the OS and any games within it persist 59hz.
