aircooler for better overclock

    I have bought Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. :)

    I have changed multiplier to 50 (50 x 100MHz = 5000MHz) and auto voltage (~1.4 V) in BIOS. Good stable?

    I'd recommend not doing auto. You could probably get lower temps on your own. I guess you could use 1.4 as a starting point and work down from there. 5Ghz is great though.

    I tried manually change to 1.3 V and now or 1 second later... I got freeze with/without BSOD despite idle. Therefore, I keep auto-voltage, ok?

    Spire Thermax Eclipse II, should be within your budget and it a beast at cooling.
    Running a i5 3570k @ 4.5ghz 24/7 and it hits about 55 while gaming.

    Ummm no. Start overclocking slowly from the bottom and set stock voltages. Auto voltage is aggressive and would probably not get you the voltage you need to remain stable.

    What you need to do is read about overclocking. You're now just doing stuff. First you buy a 50 euro max cooler and then say you want to go 5ghz stable with it. And change from 1.4 right down to 1.3. You're approaching this very badly and will end up killing your system.

    I meant start with something like 1.3975v. I have no idea what your motherboard's steps are, but if you are messing with the correct voltage, there should be very very small steps. You should either start from a lower clock (and much lower volts) and work up (which is probably better), or just keep the clock you want and keep knocking volts down until you crash, then go up 2 ticks or so.
