"Fermi Bios Editor" isn't any more supported.
Use NiBiToR 6.02 or 6.01 that is in the download package.
If you use NiBiToR 6.02 please do a rescan (ADV info tab) , if you don't do this with 6.02 you get red integrity (bug in 6.02).

If the card is working fine there is NO need to flash , remember flashing card is not without danger.

Upload the stock bios of the old and new GTX580 and give me the settings that you want (core / voltage /Fan).
Use zippy uploader or something else.
I will edit for you .

    Here You are!

I just need the Min fan from 40 to 30% and Core Voltage from ? to 1.025mV.

With Fermi Bios Editor was easy but with Nbitor i prefer to do not risk :hort:

    Thank You man <3

P.S. if the link don't work, just copy and paste on you browser!

Ok , done ! fan at 30% min and voltage at 1.025V , Download the modified bios here :http://www38.zippyshare.com/v/67674804/file.html

The command in nvflash is : nvflash 580FV.rom

Please flash both cards with this bios so the new bios 70.10.20.00.01 is on both cards.
If you flash sli system don't use overide flash commands( -4-5-6) , just use the command that I gave you. Both cards got same ID's so there should be no problem !!

-Start up from usb , type in DOS the command .
-Now it will say that it found matched device , flash it by pressing "y".
-After succesfull message it will prompt that it found a other matching device.
    Flash it with pressing "y".
-Wait for succesfull message , message no more matching devices will appear, now reboot and you are done.

Or flash each card seperatly !

The bios that you modified on your old card got a yellow integrity. Meaning that data is not correct so that is why you better flash both cards.

"Fermi bios editor" doesn't work with offset voltage values and that is causing the wrong data. Better to use NiBiToR from now on.

Hope this helps you out !

NiBiTor 6.0.3 would need to update my NVIDIA BIOS 590, how do you get?.
Is the danger that entails, but what voltage you recommend me?

    A greeting.

You get it by donating (chipin "upgrade NiBiToR)here:http://www.mvktech.net/

Just you know , on the current GTX590 models it is impossible to adjust voltage.
Even if you change the voltage settings with NiBiToR the NVIDIA driver overrules it cause of the VRM limitations. So no need to upgrade NiBitoR if you ask me.

I did put some info in my guide for the GTX590 where I say not to use voltage tweak. NVIDIA made voltage tweaking impossible with the latest drivers on the GTX590.
Only thing you can do is overclock core/shader/memory speed without voltage tweak. So the overclock will not be so big.
630-650 on the core you should reach without problems.

Here the words of Unwinder (creator of Rivatuner and MSI Afterburner) on voltage control of the GTX590:http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=3967355&postcount=5 quote:After infamous burning VRMs issues NVIDIA completely locked voltage control for 590 series in 270 series drivers. So forget about it.

There is rumor of a revision of the GTX590 with stronger VRM's.

Thank you for this great guide!

I am trying to modify the fan speeds on my EVGA 560 Ti. What is the best way to do this? I saved the BIOS using GPU-Z. Now I try to open the BIOS in Nibitor and it tells me integrity error. It does it so in 6.0.1 and 6.0.2. Even if I click the rescan button, it keeps telling me that. What can I do?

Use "nvflash" , you need to do it in DOS , follow the guide on "how to flash".
Make a bootable usb with nvflash on it , the latest , it is in the download package.

Boot in DOS from the usb , type in nvflash --save (name that you want).rom and follow instructions.

Reboot and your saved bios should be on the usb.

GPU-Z doesn't always work correctly , best to use nvflash for backup.

Remember that you can only edit the min and max fan value of the fan in the bios. You still need software like "MSI Afterburner" to make a fan profile.

Only the 200 , 8... and 9...series could be flashed with a fan profile into the bios.

    New tool.

I'm working on a new tool (with Crispyi) to make it easier to get the values right in NiBiToR.

Here are some screenshots , it is a tool that I'm testing , not public.

A short guide on how it works now , but there will be changes. A calculate button will be added , better layout and maybe a memory tab so that the exeptions for the GTX470, 480 and 465 are more clear.
And maybe a full bios editing program , depending on the time Crispyi and I got.

    The tool will be free.

FermiCalculator 1.0.0.0 By Civato & Crispyi

This tool is made to calculate the values in Tab4 and Tab11 in NiBiToR P15 level depending on what Fermi based card you are using.

-It can be uninstalled in the Add/remove programs.
    -Install.
    -Open application.

-First type in your shaderspeed(tab3 in NiBiToR) that you want. (core speed x2 = shaderspeed)

-select type of your GTX card.

-Values of tab 4 and tab 11 are calculated and shown in the tab result box.

-Put in these values in NiBiToR.

Supported NVIDIA cards.(More will be added if there is need for it)

    GTX460
    GTX465
    GTX470
    GTX480
    GTX560ti
    GTX570
    GTX580
    GTX590.

If you like it please let us know !!!

    Update on the Fermicalculator

Here is the final design of the calculator , now we need to do some more coding.

    How it will work
You select your type of card
    You put in the default NiBiToR values in the Open Tab's , 3 - 4 - 5.
You put in your Shader and Memory speed that you want.
    Press calculate button
And you put in NiBiToR the values you get in P12 (only for the 4...series) and P15.

No more misstakes for the user.

looks good..but erm, i do not know about the font colors, its kinda hard to read and doesnt look as clean to me as it could be, hehe..
i mean, cmon..Green font color on a green background?
    Also
Your new nibitor settings..i barely can read nibitor...

i dont say its bad at all..i mean hey, its great work u do there..but the colors do not fit in my opinion..

its just my opinion and i just wanted to say that..

other from that..i really like it..

    greetings, BetA

Ok m8 , will work on it , but it is a screenshot , will use more clearer colors.

Edit: This will be it ,
Just need to select your GPU and type in your speeds.
Then you get your NiBiToR tabs values.
