nvsvc32.exe I'd like to turn it off, but I'd like to know EXACTLY what it does before I do so. Anybody know?
I'm not totally sure what it does...I can't remember anymore. However, I have had mine turned off for a while, as well as many others, and we haven't had any problems due to this.
It's used for nvidia's refresh forcer. I disable it and just use nvrt (which doesn't work properly in the 5x.xx series drivers, so if you're using those and nvidia's refresh forcer keep it on)
That's nice to hear Elanzer. I have always disabled this and wondered why the refresh rate fix never works. Now I've enabled it again RFF is working with 61.12. Thanks again.
I've allways been using RefreshLock which seems to be working very nicely for me. I was wondering also why the override refreshrates settings never worked for me. Now I know.
