A couple of weeks ago NVIDIA made some small modification to it's mid-range line-up in specific their GeForce 9800 GTX product. These design changes are related to PCB board design power efficiency...

    I know. :p

I just was surprised by the second quote which I took from the summary of this article and did some "research", since it mentions the GTS250 with 512 MB.

Lol it's funny how the Galaxy one you posted is actually the most expensive one, as in, before rebate and deal, regularly 189.99 with 30 dollar instant savings and 50 dollar rebate, crazy stuff

Though i think the whole point is the GTS 250 made the prices go down, i'm not surprised at all that the 9800 GTX+ is either at the same price or lower then the GTS 250, it's probably being discontinued and they need to sell all of the cards that they currently have, but that doesn't mean that automatically discards the fact that when the GTS 250 came out it was less expensive then the 9800 GTX+ which in the most simplest terms means it was a price drop
