We review, test and benchmark the Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 motherboard. The all beefed up Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 is intended for Intel's 22nm Ivy Bridge processors on Socket LGA1155. It is the flagship product a... Gigabyte Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 gets tested and reviewed
Looks incredible, i know Hallryu has one, wouldn't mind one too tbh. Maybe someday. Hallryu is also gonna pop the cover on an Ivy cpu, hope there's gonna be pics ..i'm game 2.4ghz memory ftw? why not 2.8ghz tested? perhaps in future?
Oh cool! I knew when I bought this board it's intended market was the subzero overclockers brigade but I got a killer deal on the price. Ill be delidding my 3770 for this board. Hopefully I'll have results to post when I put my build together sometime just after crimbo hopefully.
It looks like a great board and all,but really if not using more then two cards i dont see(even at -100c)much over the ud5h for less then half the cash.
Will do. However, I don't have time for a full before and after temps review. I'm going to lap the HS as well. May lap my H100 too. 800 to 3000 grit paper has already been ordered. Agreed, I was always going for the UD5 (better looking board imo) but got the UP7 at near UD5 price. The power phasing on this board apparently helps reduce CPU temps and as we know with Ivybridge that has to be a good thing!
Finally another true killer board from Gigabyte. Would be my board of choice if I were to build a new rig. But I don't see the need to replace my P67A-UD7 any time soon
Echo's my thoughts exactly, LesserHellspawn. Gigabyte is really making great products recently. My Z68 series have all been really fantastic. The build quality, rubber dust covers and stuff speak volumes about the company. If I was upgrading, I'd be getting the Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 though. I really like unboxing Gigabyte products too. I think it's the smell.
