There could be huge trees around the settlements, and fortress walls, who knows.

Do we really need heights in AC? In AC1 i mostly walked within the crowd because the archers were pissing me off. ;)

Anyway, REALLY looking forward to this. I hope we can use a tomahawk, like Mel Gibson in Pioneer.

It's finally a new ancestor, so hopefully it's good.

Makes me wonder how the game will play out. And PLEASE... end the story. The cliff hangers are KILLING me. :infinity:

I honestly wasn't expecting this move! I felt sure the ENTIRE focus of AC3 was going to be Desmond. Although, it could be quite interesting with the style of the cities which I assume will be the game world. I'm expecting something very gangs of New York-ish.

But then again I stopped playing after AC2 as Brotherhood never seemed to work right and I just really disprove intently of Ubisoft now so I haven't played Revelations either. But I must admit I have enjoyed the series and the ending cutscene of AC2 really is amazing!

Wow, nice tomahawk! Again, straight buy for me. Damn u Ubisoft. :)

Storywise i hope we start off as a normal guy again and then have to learn everything from the ground up, like the young Ezio in AC2.

It was just great to get new tools and new abilities the longer you played. Its something Brotherhood and Revelation totally lacked.

The outfit looks great in the snowy scenes. But, in the forest and town... it stands out horribly.
You'd figure, a secret group of Assassin's... that's been around for centuries...
They'd change the outfit after a while. You don't want to wear the exact same thing for hundreds of years...
Kind of make it easy to spot a member of this "secret" group. Specially when you're mostly fighting the same enemy for all these years.

"-Uses a new version of the Anvil engine that can "depict thousands of troops engaged in bloody battle" along with highly detailed face close-ups. They later imply that if they used version numbers, they would be like going from Anvil 1.0 -> Anvil 2.0 or something of that nature."

Wow, it looks great, wasn't sure about the setting at first, but that has convinced me.

Good news about the engine though, more detail on close ups, and bigger more epic battles will make an already pretty decent engine even better.

Agree the outfit might need tweaking though.
