X-meridian is retired.

    It was a "limited edition" card that wasn't meant to be produced for long. You can still find it for ~$170, though, but with X-Fi Prelude literally right around the corner why would you want to?

    Wow, that would be a nice card to own. A hybrid of the X-Fi and the X-Meridian :)

    is it possible that it sold more than they expected and they really are short on C-Media's CMI8788 chip? I'm saying no but just curious.

    Lastly, Creative can shove it with their drivers (regarding the Prelude) :)
