Price is a little cheaper too. Still up for a July release date by the looks. Let's hope the colour on this GSync, lightboost, 27", new 8-bit TN panel is way better than other TN's.

I have also been told by people that have seen it that the colour shift it much better than other TN's.

lol look at the huge dead pixels spot on that monitor.

Shame he never mentioned it and gave people some confidence that yours won't have that too.

Your blind if you don't see that big white spot while he's playing BF, try putting it to 1080 might make it easier to spot.

It's in the 'colorblind' and 'top friends' section right before that ;)
What has been seen can't be unseen. I'm amazed the reviewer doesn't seem to notice or care? Dead pixels suck and so does the reviewed unit.

Well sorry then for not knowing that m8.

Thought you was on ya PC.

It is pretty poor of them to either not see it at all or just not mentioning it, after all it is a high end gaming monitor from Asus being reviewed by an Asus employee.

I personally can't wait for the smoothness of GSync. Your frame rate goes up or down a bit in Borderlands 2 with everything turned up? No problem!

    its been a looooong wait...

Hot damn. Gonna pre-order as soon as Amazon has the option for me to do so. ALso, i'm ok with one dead pixel as long as it isn't in the dead center of the screen. It'll sometimes work itself out.

G-sync is the best thing since sex. :D

Wow. Either GSync is that good or your sex is.... Never mind lol

I can't pay $799 for ANY dead pixels.

Unfortunately that is a risk we take with monitors. My last monitor looked like a unicorn threw up on the screen. That's how many dead pixels there were lol.

If there was no-dead-pixels guarantee, this may actually be a decent gaming monitor for everyone with NV graphics card. The color and angle-related color shift are much better than I expected.

$800 is a bit steep price. I paid less for 27" IPS 2560x1440 monitor (Dell U2713H, even in Europe and including VAT)

    holygod that pixel is hueg.

I got one dead pixel on my asus 24 incher in the top left corner so I never bothered to send it back since I never see it.

I see swift death coming to g-sync after adaptivesync monitors are a norm o_O

It's not a dead pixel it's a piece of styrofoam that they didn't see until after they were done filming according to their facebook. A dead pixel on a QHD screen would not be that big.

I thought it would be either many pixels dead in samespot if anything :D cause on my 1920x1200 one dead pixel is small as hell. :D
