I cant wait to see the review on this.. Will this be the next super high end air cooler..

I am planning on building a 2nd pc for the Fiance once steamroller is released.. Ill give her my mobo and this cpu downclock it to 4.7 with turbo boost and hopefully one of these high end coolers will keep it cool enough.. :)

If it improves upon the old V8, it will be pretty damn good.

Looks a lot better than the old V10 did, and applies the same sort of principles much more efficiently.

Forum link on the article "DeepCool GamerStorm Lucifer CPU cooler" go mixed up. It leads to the "Cooler Master V8 GTS CPU cooler" forum link.

Anyhow I hope Hilbert finds some time to review both coolers! :)

P.S: Oh although I doubt it because of its size, maybe even "Koolance EXC-800 portable 800W liquid chiller"?? That would be uber-cool Hilb! :D

    Too much plastic...

Also it's based on a Noctua Prototype from Computex 2011.

    Ridiculous!

It's so big that if it does fit it in your case but you have a side panel fan then you may have to lose the fan. Woudn't want to buy that and find out it won't fit due to a side panel fan :eek3: In fact I won't be buying it, Kraken X60 FTW

And it's 'Aluminium' NOT 'Aluminum' for gawd's sake!

Aluminium is not that good with heat unless it has a copper base :)
