11.6 CAP1 Released

    I haven't tried 11.6 on Shift 2 without any CAP yet. But, I tried older drivers on Shift 2 without any CAP, I got bad scalling.

    One must be patient owning a CFX...takes time for drivers and CAPs to fully support a game :/

    In certain games, forcing certain kinds of AA will cause the game to bug (ie. game engine doesn't support forced AA), thus disabling this for those titles saves YOU a lot of whining (well, in this case it didn't help apparently).

    Sorry bud. Don't need ATI to save me from anything. I can see for myself if AA is working or not. Waste of time to add this type of thing to any CAP for any game. If you can't figure out something doesn't work, then you shouldn't be dicking around with your settings anyways.

    cant you force the AA with radeon pro (other profiles) ?

    its what AMD never thinks about in my experience.

    Is it not just a case of, they've disabled it from being applied by the CCC, as doing it that way, lowers performance ?

    i would say it is with the default profile. but how many times are people forcing other games profiles to get higher (normal) performance ?
    hence why i said other profiles.

    Just because YOU can doesn't mean others can. The game has its own AA settings (which are currently broken but that is upto the game devs to fix) so wanting AA via the CCC is pointless anyway. No other profiles do not fix the forced AA in the game so there is zero point to allowing it to be enabled for that title via the CCC.
