Got a question regarding it: Did a Nvidia driver ever edit that registry key?
I haven't seen it ever on any setup, so curious how it gets triggered if so.

complete garbage driver. Hard locks every 10min, rolled back to 301.32 and stable so far. Using 2x GTX 680s

I had this bug 2-3 months ago, but here it was something with realtek LAN,. I upgraded to newest 7.053 and since then pc wouldn't turn off - it would turn back on after 1-2sec..

I used some custom INF geforce/quadro driver, idk could be connected with both.
It was like this new 7.053 caused a signal issue and didn't turn off lan properly.. Instead it kept receiving a signal from modem and turned PC back on.

To fix it i downgraded LAN driver to 7.050, removed battery out, reinstalled new 7.053 and never had it since.

My PC has started shutting down correctly now, not changed anything? Wondering if it's the clock bug or whatever preventing the shutdown?

Would these new drivers make any improvements to my old gtx260 card either by fps or iq or is it just wishful thinking now as its such an old card and doesn't support dx11?

There will be bug fixes for games but it is doubtful that NVIDIA will still be optimising the drivers for their older cards. Can't hurt to try the drivers though and see for yourself?

As for image quality, I've never seen any difference between driver releases, ever; they all look the same to me. But then I tend to only use the official releases for my card not Quadro or whatever drivers, which some claim have improved IQ.

Love this 301.34 driver; the more I use it, the more I like it. This driver and these dual Asus 680 GTX's in SLI mode have sure made a big difference, and the graphics are just awesome. The games have never been so smooth. For me these drivers are Keepers for this system.

I cant remember did windows 7 come out and then they ported 11 to vista or did they port 11 to vista a little before 7 came out?

Just tried these with my GTX680 SLI setup. Much smoother here with VSync no more stutters!! :D

Played Skyrim for an hour with no drops below 60fps!

These work excellent for the 680. BF3 has never been smoother using Vsync.
