Hey guru's. I just thought it would be interesting to see what CPU temps people are getting under load with their AMD processor. I suppose it could be a Prime95 burn test, or even during a heavily CPU stressed game like Star Craft 2 or Tomb Raider. I'll make the range more broad to cover that spectrum.

I have a heavy overclock going but am in the low 50's while modern gaming and under max load in Prime95 I get about 65C! So lets hear it, how toasty does your CPU get? This would also be a good spot to tell us what CPU cooler you are using

Would these be package temps or die temps? Package gets up to 61.5C with IBT. Gaming it's around 50C. I'm using an Antec Kuhler 920 with AP-15's in P/P.

FX-8350 @ 4.6ghz with a NH-D14 strapped to it using 3 Scythe AP-15 fans. Hottest core during IBT is 66c. During Prime 95, hottest core is 60c. During gaming, temps fluctuate between 45c-48c at most.

Nice. I was thinking of putting a second Scythe Slip Stream Kaze 120mm fan on my cooler but instead I replaced my old CM case fan with it. At around 1900RPM, its a bit on the loud side for a case fan but it dropped CPU temps in the case 1-2C on average. Seems to be moving warm air out of the case nicely. I figure that may have been the better route to go given the backwards mounting of the CPU cooler I have for AM3+

SlipStream is bad idea for cooler, gentle typhoon would be much better choice.

    ^ Right, that's why I made it a case fan instead :)
