Nothing. All that they will say is that it's coming 2016. But, they did say they'd have a big announcement at E3. So, people are betting on the release date reveal then.
On a related matter: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/05/13/shadow-warrior-retrospective/ SW was definitely a positive surprise in every sense of the word. Not only a superior reboot but a damn fine game on and of its own. Plus it had a surprisingly meaningful storyline. Gosh, I miss Hoji... ... Hoji: "Sexy and bossy, I must try that too!" Lo Wang: "You need to work on the sexy part." Hoji: "You b*tch!"
PC Release Is "In Less Than Two Months" + DRM-free with Galaxy on @GOGcom! https://twitter.com/ShadowWarrior/status/763557399529598976 https://twitter.com/ShadowWarrior/status/763557735153623040 Instabuy from me! I like supporting developers who care about gamers and spend time and resources on a game (content, performance optimization etc) and not on anti-consumer DRM c r a p
Yeah they're a cool bunch. I love how they updated the 2011' game with DX11 and 64 bit and didn't charge a penny. DX9 version ran poorly on my old pc but DX11 ran @ 60fps all the time.
I do look forward to it as well but the change in focus from the first game to a sort of semi-Borderlands co-op experience well I'm not entirely sold on that but Flying Wild Hog usually makes good games so I'm fairly sure it'll work out.
^ co-op is totally optional and the game can enjoyed solo just as well. The amount and rank of enemies scales with the number of players I think. I like the new verticality and more freedom of movement seen in this. The last one was a corridor shooter literally. It was meant to be one though, but this seems better anyway.
Awesome news. But, dammit. Two months, that's October... same month as Mafia III. I always love/hate this time of year. Just seems everything always ends up coming out, shoved into the same release window.
The dual wielding and sword play in the first game felt so natural. I love it. Plus, I liked the story. Can't wait for the sequel!
