Asus K7M - southbridge chip failed. Asus refused to replace under warranty claiming that installation by end-user violated the terms of the warranty. Asus K7V-266 - misc failures across 4 boards Asus K8V-X - wouldn't post with IDE harddrives connected. Asus tech support blamed harddrives, PSU, IDE cables, case, optical drives, chipset drivers. Finally ended with Asus voiding the warranty when I refused to accept their excuses and demanded an RMA. Asus P7P55D-E LX - was an Asus refurb/recert board. was physically warped and never stable. That's my history with Asus motherboards. Similar history with Gigabyte....
On newegg you can get the 4670k and the z87-A for $310 as a combo deal. here I just bought one as well.
That was 10 years ago dude....admittedly I've had a couple of ASUS boards die early, but when they work, they work well.... :nerd:
i didnt come for that and thanks to eclap for coming back i hop TK also will get over it . well i had my lesson with the rebagged nvidia stuff with the 9800gtx+ 7950 is better ill check this oc plans and i like the ASrock Z77 Extreme 4 it looks good and the name also yes i figured this by my own i need check the local store not internet
Guys how about the MSI Z87-GD65? It's more expensive but I preferred that over the Extreme4 due to the digital power delivery system (vs. analog on the ASRock). Used that board for a friend's recent build.
The Extreme4's analog system isn't really worth worrying about because it performs well in practice. Theoretically the mosfets could become a problem during extreme overclocks (their design means they can get quite hot), but it's not really worth worrying about.

Looks good but I would go with this RAM as the one you have selected is 1.65V and this one is 1.5V bit safer on the memory controller. And maybe this 7950 as it's one of the best available.
i play games and maybe they have this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104333 i dunno kinston over gskill or what about the gpu they only have gigabyte in the store and anyway the area is surrounded by demonstrations now in cairo
Then 16Gb shouldn't hurt if you can fork over some extra cash. Kingston Hyper X is good ram from what I have heard.
well we are under curfew in cairo for a month :/ atm there is shootings and street war in the place where the pc stores is aranoid: much like i started gaming early with the new rig with doom 4 maxed out:cop::rpg:
