Same process as Sandy Bridge (Westmere), 980X-like Xeon, 4.53 GHz at 1.38 V. Much beyond that needs a lot more voltage.

    4.7 1.38v max temps around 68C,
yesterday i seen i had been running push /push config on my cpu cooler(for months now), incredible facepalm moment, had it not been for me having to sort a fan noise i'd never have noticed, not stress tested yet but idle temps are down around 2 - 3C i guess.

4.5Ghz 1.21v temps max out at LinX about 75 °C

right now i'm backed down to 4.4Ghz 1.16v just to see the temp difference, hottest core was about 69 °C

i really got lucky with my chip

My Adobe products run slower with HT on. Conflict of cache's so the forums say.

3.50V??? You mean 1.35V? Your processor won't survive 3.50V on vCore....

    LOL

    Sadly I cooked mine.
I flashed a newer BIOS and this one had LLC stepped settings, previous BIOS didnt have them as an option.
I accidentally put it on max LLC and found I was running at 1.48V for over 1/2hr while stress testing!
That screwed it, voltage needed jumped from 1.38V to 1.44 @ 4.5GHz.
Temp was below 72C (running a good water cooler).
Previously it could get 4.8GHz, now 4.5GHz is my max.
It wasnt that good a chip in the first place, now its crap, although 4.5GHz is still pretty quick.

Moral of the story, dont stress test at 1.48V for a long time and check LLC level every time you go near it!

Max temp in game around 55°C with the H100i fans on quiet.

1.35v for 4.7 GHz for me(with HT on). On custom liquid cooling loop (EK stuff mainly), temps are 25-27C idle, 45-50C when gaming, ~60C with prime95 running for 1hr+. Not a perfect chip, but i feel that 1.35v is not that bad for 4.7GHz....

Is it really worth the higher voltage for 4.6?
