same goes for all the Android phones. While stock roms are fine, custom roms are just so much better. This is not a Samsung issue. Flashing a custom room takes 5 minutes and a few clicks.

The difference in size will be negligible. What will you be getting instead?

The difference in size between the s2 and even a 7" tablet is huge. 4.8" would not be that much bigger. what is it about the s2 size that makes it too big?

1080p is a tiny bit of an overkill, not as much as 41MP camera on a mobile phone. Hell, 41MP is overkill even for a full frame dslr (and their sensors are a LOT bigger than that of the 808).

a few years back a certain company demo'd a 5 inch display that was capable of display 1080p. it wouldnt surprise me if samsung have managed to get a 1080p screen at just 4.8inches.

and galaxy note official ICS has been delayed till april according to the twitter feeds. but the ICS rom for the chinese model and the global n7000 roms have leaked on xda-devs and sammobile.

Whilst many would say it's far too big, it IS big, however it fits into my jeans as well as formal trousers at work without any problem...

that's the galaxy note, most people would not go for it, it was designed to be supersized

Indeed. Plus with Android you get to pick what phone you get. No samey iPhone Malay., Android will steamroll iPhone this year. No contest.

Using a 4.3" screen at the moment and it's already too big for my liking, I'd never go for anything higher, much preferred 3.7". I remember when phones were getting smaller and smaller not bigger and bigger! :(

they're getting bigger for a reason. larger screens. back in the day they all had a tiny screen so of course they were getting smaller. but you can't go from 3.5" phone to a 4.7" and expect it to be smaller. I for one can't wait to get my next phone. it'll have a larger screen than my current SGS2.

Nice looking phone, nice specs if true.
Still, gonna skip this generation of phones.

I just sold mu HD2 and got EVO 3D and im impressed with 3d screen.
The only thing i noticed is when i watch 3d content after a while when i try to look in the distance my eyes cant focus easily on objects,as if they became lazy or something.....

That's obvious, doesn't mean I like it! I don't want a 4.7" screen on a phone. I'm going to get rid of my EVO 3D and get the One V me thinks... Nothing is THAT much better on a ~1 inch bigger screen that makes me want to put up with having to get a big awkward phone out my pocket every 2 minutes to reply or change track.

Exactly .. these mammoths are too obtrusive. Might as well get an ipad or whatever for full internet browsing duty.

Where are you even getting these dimensions from? From all we know this leaked phone isn't even real in the first place and that pic may be scaled down.

Also, the Galaxy Nexus, I consider huge, don't get me wrong. Not as big as the Galaxy Note but rather large.
