Samsung has released a new line of SSDs, the 840 PRO. Coming in three different storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, these slim 2.5-inch SSDs (7mm thick) are equipped with MLC NAND Flash

Thanks for the heads up; I'm anticipating the review, especially a comparison with Vertex 4.

It would be also great if you could provide idle/load power draw measurements, as they can be important for laptops.

...vertex 4 is old and weak, it's not the fastest ssd of the old ones how it is interesting to compare with the newest best ssd on the market like 840 pro.?

Well, I'd like to compare 2 likely the best SSDs. If you want to benchmark GTX 680, you don't just say it's the best, period.

Newegg will have these for sale Nov 6.

A tad over $1/GB. Alot cheaper per GB than it was this time last year.
