Its the same. For example u select now 60.7 fps, that number has the hex value for 59 fps. Will be capped at 59fps, but will use in-game at 60.7 - 61 fps something in that area.

U need to look at the hex values, they are correct, not at the new numbers in the this new inspector version. The new numbers 60.7, etc. are just displaying the actual fps you will get in-game.

i know but think before if i pick 59 fps it was limited to that according to RTSS framerate counter, which is now 60.7 according to inspcetor and rtss framerate counter shows 60.7 no sense to me

I thinking it was changined in inspector and in drivers in recent verisons some how?

On a laptop with 1366x768 resolution, the Profile Editor can't display all the options of a profile, the scrollbar indicator fades vertically half way beyond the bottom of the window:

Also, "Driver Profile Settings" in jumplists does nothing now.

Buggy release. "Nvidia Inspector has stopped working" every boot, faulting module nvcuda.dll.

Reverted to 1.9.7.3 and back to normal.

I'm an not able to open the driver settings, I can open sensor monitoring and multi display power saving. But when I select Driver profile settings nothing happens.

    any ideas?

:::::::::::::Nevermind, I was trying to use just a updated version.

I had to download the entire package, now I see the separate program.

    Thanks for the bug reports!

    Code:
NVIDIA Inspector - Version 1.9.7.5 (.NET Framework 2 or above)

    - removed obsoltete profile settings jump list entry
    - fixed cuda lib error

NVIDIA Profile Inspector - Version 2.1.1.1 (.NET Framework 4 or above)

    - reverted back to default font
    - fixed layout problems (hopefully)

60 fps is 0xF000003C but NV profile inspector v2.1.1.1 showing [~] 61.8 fps

use RTSS or frame rate limiter?? which one more reliable & stable?

since some nvidia driver changes in R341.XX? the inspector frame rate limiter does not limit to exact fps anymore, the new values are a good guess what the actual limit will be in game

So I'm seeing that I'm correct: you don't get the new version notification in profile explorer anymore.

So i was correct it was Nvidia drivers that changed to this behavior? is it also nvidia drivers that fixed the 1~2 fps below and higher then limit issue too? cause RTSS actual show FPS nvidia inspector is locked too now. were as 6+ months ago a 60fps lock had 1~2 fps below and higher hitches

BTW the font much nicer now and the tearing i swore i was seeing is gone too, maybe it was just the font.

Any possibility of makeing the profile editor exe have different icon,

Yes. Some earlier drivers had really bad fps limit. Think around r340+ it got a lot better, but nowhere near rtss limit

Idk now with r364 though.. cant try atm, waiting for new ram and pc is in nonfunctional state :infinity:

current using 361.91 have not touched the new drivers cause of "issues" i keep hearing about, should probably check them seeing the sub color was fix and there was fix in DX 9 AA, cant really be bothered to do so atm though.

Latest build still crashes with the same dialog error as noted previously.

Something else strange since the update to .5. When you right click on the main program exe and select 'pin to start menu', the profiler link no longer shows. Just the main program then the arrow > with Sensor Monitoring Multi Display Power Saver but no ProfileInspector link.
