ssd vs mechanical

    I have been using a SSD for my OS drive exclusively since about 2010. Going back to HDD for OS (when fixing some problem PC that someone else brought me) is mind numbingly painful and a simple things like virus scans etc are painfully slow in comparison.

    isnt it!, I keep trying to talking people in to get SSD solo for OS but they all say the same thing why.

    once you install OS on SSD you will never go back to HDD, every person I ever forced to get SSD say something "WOW there huge difference between this and the OS installed on HDD"

    It ridiculous how slow scans can take on HDD vs SSD.
