So much plastic. Lacks the beauty of the NH-D14 but some folks don't like the colour of Noctua fans but the D14 is just beautiful in my opinion.
There is less plastic on the D14? I'm one of those guys, though. I'd rather not have to paint something that I pay good money for.
This is the fourth "coming real soon" announcement from them...I'll get excited when they have an actual product that can be evaluated.....supposedly they sent out samples in November to tech sites for review....still have yet to see one (review)...not saying it won't come, but just getting to hate the hype on this ****! We all know who the main players are to beat...so let's see what y'all are capable of..just sayin zall'...
I saw spec and it looks mostly for air cooling, they have kinda low static air pressure for h2o http://www.cryorig.com/xf140.php XT140 13mm can be 2 on each side for quad Push pull, this might actually work :nerd:
All I see is a similar look to the NH-D14. Hopefully it performs just as well if not better though. I think the NH-D14 is an excellent cooler, but why can they not change the generic look of the fans! uke2: I keep debating on switching back to air and getting that but the fans will kill the nice looks of my case.
The white/black does pop, it would look better with a 3rd fan on the back too. At least in my opinion
I'm sure all of us here in Guru3D would had installed the 3rd fan on day 1 if we had that. Assuming we are not space limited.
This cooler was tested today on another site. Just do a little search cause I am unsure of the rules on putting putting up links to other review sites. IT seems to have done well considering the 1400rpm fans.
Oh shoot, you're right. I kicked the NH-D14 pretty hard. I don't think there's a problem posting another site as long as it's relevant. here I WANT :nerd:
Looks great! Also I didn't know my H100i was that good! Although that 12'C difference between the H100(low) vs the H100i(low) looks a bit dubious.
The NH-D14 will perform better with the new Fans. Don't forget the D14 was released in 2009 and hasn't had an update ever since apart from 2011 Socket Mounting Kit.
