Stupid pentiums and their damn memory bandwidth. Max I've gotten was 3507mb/s and didn't remember the second one. I was running 227fsb with 2-2-2-7 on dual channel.

Yes, but Athlons generally outperform with much less mhz. ;)

Based on your quote, I'm right where I should be then. But damn, that FX-53 is serious business. ;)

i think the fx-53 will show its power on the next generation cards...def not worth the $$ at this point as oc'ing the athlon 64 catches it in most benchmarks

More importantly, next generation software. The hardware is all here basically. Now we just need the damn software to catch up. When Win64 gets released, and software written for it, that's when all the real goodies of the A64 will really shine. I think anyone that wants to upgrade their pc should definitely look into an A64. The price is right for the 3000/3400+, and the performance is definitely there. Now, I'm already drooling on the thought of my benches with a X800 card. :pipe:

paradigm9 ... your Aquamark 3 score should be pushing 60,000 at the least with your specs that are listed. I know of one getting 63,000 with that same CPU.

i think all of my scores should be higher....i'm way low compared to the others online, with the same drivers.
my cpu scores are higher than the others i checked, but my gpu is always lower for some reason.

this is the same card i had trouble seating..wonder if there is something wrong with it

Question is, are they running it at default settings? I hit 54k just disabling the 4X AF. I like to run all benches at default settings, and use factory drivers(4.3). That way, we all have a common ground for comparison.

Really what Slam meant was the Video Card settings. Which most people doing benchmarking already know this. Disable AA & AF|No Vsync|Quality set to High Performance|Mipmaps Off| Coolbits overclock as much as possible.
