To understand CRU and Magic behind it, go there -> https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Forum-Monitors-Video-Cards

Also Your Monitor specs says much of OC you can get out of it :)

So I moved to this one with the Nano from 13.12 with the 7950, few questions:

The EDID option is gone now (always resulted in a bit warmer and nicer picture over here), now there is color temperature on auto and the K slider which is stock 6500K, the 6500 give me the warmer picture, conclusion that auto is EDID disabled?

Also I can't see the fan speed adjustment, it is only the min. and max. value, wtf?

Oh and some video settings are missing, are they still behind on all of this compared to pre crimson drivers? :bang:

The thing is VSR isn't working for some games, MKX is one of them, that's why I'm asking.

Since 17.5.1 I and my friends had some problems in BF1.
For me (R9 Fury) and for my friend with HD 7870 it's just a lower performance, but for my second friend with RX 460 it's a lower performance and Texture filtering problem.
We using 17.3.2 .dll now and everything is solved.

I will be very disappointed if there's not a game optimized driver for DiRT 4 on release.

Is that enough of a reason not to optimize it further?

I don't really understand, how people can think that nvidia game ready drivers improves performance for every release for single GPU owners.

Nvidia Game Ready drivers usually only includes 3D profiles, profiles for Nvidia optimus for the laptops (they even have a process in background that automatically updates profiles, independent of the driver version) and sometimes SLI profiles, all this things are bundled in the driver version.

Rarely you see a performance boost from one driver to another.
I have a laptop with a nvidia GPU for 3 years now, I always test before and after the games and I can garante you that I've never seen performance improving with game ready drivers comparing to non-game ready drivers.
In fact I even had 2 games that even got worse frames after the driver update.

Just because AMD or Nvidia don't release a driver for a certain game, doesn't mean the game will run poorly than it's competitor.
Or.. releasing more drivers != better performance.

    Cheers

Patience my friend. Maybe they work hard to fix what windows 10 messed up with the marvelous "game friendly" creator update.

Dont feed the ANTI AMD troll. Who ever he/she is a shrill.

Warlord is just needs to go away already.

I figure honestly, they are dropping a new driver for when Dirt 4 Launches worldwide tomorrow.

Reported for calling me troll. Maybe you should go away.

You have just a Fury and Intel cpu. I am a better amd supported than you anyway.

Microsoft pushes many updates, so drivers should be coming faster from now on. I believe twice a month minimum it's stable and smooth.

I need new driver also (still on 17.5.1)
But they are busy right now :p

We need to chill -> I think we need to consider some real Modded Drivers...

    Yes :nerd:

    PS.
BTW i don't have urgent call for New Drivers ;) I just like when i got them min. 3 times in a month.
    17.1.2 working great
WDDM 2.2 17.5.1 are great (not Best) also.

    Besides:
ryZEN -> ThreadRipper -> VEGA (and with it completely new Drivers lol)

Like many said year ago -> This YAS is for AMD & ATI (Yes Black & Red sheme) :massacre:

I got to try to play a game after a really long time but was welcomed by flickering and driver crash resulting in a black screen as soon as launched it, and the infamous Wattman has restored settings after forced reboot. After a lot of tests I realized that setting anything other than the default clocks for either of my cards in Afterburner will result in flickering and crash; I guess this is the incompatibility everybody has been talking about all along...

Edit: Also VSR is broken. It worked 100% fine in Grid 2 up to at least 17.3, but now setting the resolution to anything above the default desktop resolution will force the game into windowed mode and will not enter full screen. This keeps getting better and better...

Let's keep hope alive, but keep your pitchfork ready in case they don't.
