Yeah the clocks are causing it, if I run Kombuster, jitter goes away here.. card is fully 1100/1500

Sitting on the forum.. core jumping 501/300mhz, mem 750/1500/150. All over the place. I mean for an idle it should be 300 core 150 mem right??

    Jitter returns after leaving kombuster.

I'm D/L beta of afterburner for powerplay selection.

You will need to refer-spoof, or use a download manager for this driver, and any other driver on AMD's servers (for now anyway). With Chrome, you can use Referer Control.

Set www2.ati.com to Custom > target host

(ignore the 13.4 link entry on that screenshot)

Then just load up a link to the direct file.

I find beta drivers are not bad and many times bring more improvements than problems to most games across the board. Also thanks for testing these "official AMD" drivers on mobility Llano 1st gen APU & making sure they don't work. :bawl:

It's true that 13.4whql were the final official AMD drivers to work on APU dual graphic laptops, but try using LEEKM's fix drivers:). LeeKM has been uploading "unofficial mod fixed drivers" for our Llano APU/ switchable graphics notebooks and they have been working perfectly with a fresh install using DDU. He's been making the mods since 13.8beta thru 13.12whql. (They work great as I'm presently on 13.11beta9.4 on Win7 64bit. I have not tried 13.11beta9.5 and 13.12whql but expect them to work.)

Strange that Llano is not officially supported anymore. They aren't even 3 years old

TBH while HD4850 was quite powerful, it was DX10 card. My father uses HD5770 and it works just fine in games (very similar performance, but still supported).
But imagine that people would like to have HD4650 supported with it and it's CF.
Just because 2 top cards have power needed for today's games does not move them from legacy DX10 to modern HW category.
Time moves, and one day 7990 will have performance of mainstream GPU and 7990 will no longer be supported.
But honestly next January we get a10-4850k with GPU around same performance as HD4850, so once can say that both HD4850/5770 are now in category of modern IGP, but modern comes with superior tesselation performance and other things under hood.

Yes it would be nice if AMD once per year released new drivers for legacy, but that would not allow users to play BF4 on it anyway.

I'm experiencing random screen tearing while at desktop / idle / browsing / working... Disappeared when I rolled back to previous driver.

After playing with it a bit I really like this driver. All the menus are there, no brightness bug, Enduro seems to be working great, and the I can also confirm as above ^ that the vsync issue seems to be gone in DX9 titles like SC2 which is where I first noticed it.

djsebur why does your audio driver say 7.12.0.7717? This is what mine looks like, I think yours is outdated :S

No, because V9.2 is fine and without v-sync it's fine.

The Linux 13.12 driver broke my Xserver on my dual graphics laptop, and DKMS failed on the install phase on my desktop (probably failed on my laptop too, but I didn't catch it in time). This is on Xubuntu 13.10.

13.11 V9.4 is working fine on both computers though. Perhaps AMD doesn't have the drivers easily available for a reason...

We can't download the mobility from AMD's site.
    Brilliant support.

Strange, perhaps u are using windows 8 ?
    I'am using win7 x64.

So, the audio driver seems to be different between the two OS ;)

    EDIT : i confirm, in the package , there is 3 different audio driver : 1 for win7, 2 for win 8...

second difference, i am using Display Port, not HDMI...

I isolated an issue whereby if my primary video card's memory clock was overclocked then upon playing hardware accelerated video content the screen would flicker as the drivers quickly switched the clock speed back to stock. Worse yet this would often cause crashes and sometimes BSoDs.

This has happened to me on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1, with the latter being a clean install. It's also happened to me with two different video cards (a 7970 and a 7950). The extent of the overclock is irrelevant; as long as the memory clock is different from stock this issue will occur.

I tried reporting it to AMD but heard nothing back.
