Well, been browsing lots of laptops and I see a trend on 15.6" 16:9 HD (1366x768)/Full HD (1920x1080). So I dont get it, are some models of it with small resolutions and some with 1080p or what? It seems bit 'tarded to write small resolution if it ALSO has 1080p. At this example im looking at asus. Some on amazon specs written only this 1366x768 resolution. How can I be sure it has 1080p then?
If they're mentioning 1366x768 it's most certainly the lower priced model of two versions. You're more likely to see 1080p and UHD versions of the same laptop now though.
Possible the actual screen is 1366x768, and the 1080p is for external display resolution support, when you connect another LCD to the HDMI or VGA out
But if thats the case then I dont get it. I remember I bought laptop like 7 or 8 years ago. There were no laptops with less than 1600x900 or 1440x900. What the hell laptos doing with there ridicilous resolutions in 2016? :| P.S. i thought its just vendor typo, but if its that what you say then I have to double check this crap.. :|
