those roads look magnificent... I think I'd have preferred the Lambo, 4wd would be tasty in those bends..
I liked the hamsters line "If you go over the edge here you'd have time to phone the insurance company!"
brilliant episode tbh, puts the fun back in to sundays imo. cnt wait for next weeks ep. Unlucky for james may tbh, his fault he picked a ****ty racing car .
OMG. It would be orgasmic if the makers of grand tourismo put some of those roads in the game that you could race on.
aw, i wish i could see it. I live in the US and sadly only get some old episodes of fifth gear threw joost. :"(
i think it was kinda predictable that the stelvio got voted the best driving road. its been (in)famous for years already. apparently, if you really like a challenge, take the other side of the mountain back down, its very similar, but not paved :dave:
watched it on youtube last night doesn't come through here in Belgium absolutely loved it good to have them back with a new season
Susten is a good one too, lots of tunnels . San Gotthardo is another, it's usually full of coaches though, but it beats driving through a tunnel at 80kmh for 17km...
brought this thread back up wtf was bbc thinking repeating last weeks episode agin wtf just cos snooker is on which is soo boring even though i used to play it, it simply aint fun to watch!
The Series ends on the 28th December anyway so you'll have to wait a good half a year for another! That's if they don't film in the summer then its going to be longer.
Didn't they say last week they wouldn't be on tonight, due to them having an xmas special or something?
The Xmas special is on BBC2 Sunday 28th from 8pm till 9.15pm here is the blurb: Season 12 Episode 8 of 8 Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May round off the current series with one of the most spectacular road trips they have ever attempted. Arriving in Vietnam, they have to travel the entire length of the country in just eight days. But first they have to buy some suitable transport for the trip, and despite having several million Dong in their pockets, this proves to be rather more difficult than they expected, especially in one of the most expensive car markets in the world
several million Dong in their pockets.. thats just wrong! interests me to see a few yankies enjoy it too
