Same as 13.1, my twin 5870s still have flickering textures in Skyrim when in Crossfire mode. Can't I have one driver that works with Skyrim & Crossfire at the same time without either crippling slowdowns or textures going mad? :bawl:

Black flickering - Not observed in quick, but intensive 30 minute gameplay

    Skyrim:
Black flickerspot - nothing at all
White flickerspot - fixed previously (2 hours ago). vcredist packages removed, last WHQL reinstalled. 13.2beta 3 installed. and white flickerspot is clear
"Facial flicker" also known as "skin flicker" when game character fades out/in. Still present

    Witcher 2 EE:
No type of flickering observed. (black, white, transparency)
Flickering which was observed is also present with different cards.

    World of Tanks:
No flickering observed yet. "Battle starts" however is still blinking. Have to re-test with different GPU.

    To be tested:
    Starcraft II

I will keep my final verdict to the future, but... the main problem seems to be fixed.

Why is there no chipset driver in this package?

They added a new line in the release notes:
Future updates will be made to AMD Catalyst 13.2 Beta to further improve performance in Crysis 3 for both single GPU and CrossFire configurations

"Significantly improves latency performance in Skyrim, Boderlands 2, and Guild Wars 2"

Is that a typo that should read "framerate" or is it indeed latency? Unless it's going to make my FPS go up I don't really need it in any of those games....

Indeed, man! Even Age of Empires 3 does not flicker anymore! This is a game with intense, the purest black lines you can find, as in Dragon Age Origins; though I don't have the latter installed right now.

Incidentally, for which latest whql vcredist are you talking about? 2010? Is there a new lately or something or you just had an old version?

These are the versions I have:

I think they're the latest... Clean things!

Latency it is. This is not supposed to up you framerate, but smoothen the frametimes. Result: smoother feeling at the same FPS-count -> win.

Any ideas what might be different for Linux? The notes listed seem Windows-specific, yet there's a Linux driver available as well...

I have actually lost about 1fps on all my games according to benchmarks. 3dmark11 GPU score is less, but only by a tiny amount. I guess latency issue fixes came at a slight price.

Ive tested this driver with skyrim and so far im very impressed by the performance. Everything is running smooth even in whiterun. In whiterun i could dip below 25 fps and now i stay above 30. In the open world i get 40-60 fps and everything looks really nice and smooth. Running everything maxed with hd texture pack @ 2560x1440. Im gonna play some more hoping the texture flickering has been fixed :)

And the ultimate question for those that don't want to get milked every year. Any performance boost for the 5000/6000 series?
I've been waiting for at least a fix for the memory for quite some time.
