No oficial statement is provided for that option :wanker:
But i think it makes gameplay more smooth on CRT monitors.
It definitly removes spikes from GPU->CRT render frames.
CRT is CRT, try it and tell me.
I am happy with this settings

Well turning off HPET greatly reduced the latency when using dpclat, from 3k to 100 is pretty big improvement.

I still have to try the CRT thing but "No oficial statement is provided for that option" is not very encouraging

What do you use for variables, buffer index and bit flags in RadeonPro to use HBAO with Witcher 3?

The Witcher 3 has HBAO+ by itself.

I just turned Off HBAO+ to Normal in W3 and Turned On HBAO on Medium in RP + Some SweetFX effects from SF 1.5.1 in RP:

Only few Games need special treatment ;-)
But when you turn on AO in RP there is always effect ON.

Isn't the RadeonPro AO slower than the game's AO?

Turning on AO in RP seems to have no effect for me
Do you not need to add the game to the AO list in RadeonPro settings?
I have tried and I can't get it to work.

I'm interested because OnnA said this on his blog:
"Also in RP+SweetFX is better to Give HBAO AO on Ultra/High or Medium and turn Off HBAO+ in Witcher 3 :) Looks Better IMO and + 5-7FPS gain."

I'm using HBAO+ currently but would be nice to get from 45 to 50 fps lock.

You'll have to set AO in Settings and for Game, also you can in game turn it on/off by shortcut in RP Settings.
Normally you have to just turn it On in RP and it should work, if not then Try make new profile in AO from AlienVsP DX11 and just copy settings ;-)

    -> http://www.radeonpro.info/manual/contents/settings-ambient-occlusion
Look here, its with RP AO -> look on the water ;-)
And there is no need for Using AO High/Ultra Drop in FPS is Hudge (But if you have Fury-X :D then give it a try )

    CPU Capability 120% / NB Cap. 130%
    OC 2020 9-11-11-30-38 1T 1.64v
    Stable Gaming 1994 9-11-10-29-36 1T 1.63v (>1h pCars and it's ROCKS ! )
    Needs further Diging :infinity:

    UPD.3
    Max stable OC ! FSB 260 2.82GHz NB + 2.65HT and 2134MHz 10-12-12-31-41 1T 1.64v
