So this is the 700 series I bet. Just as they were saying when Titan was released, that 700 series won't be faster, and here we have it.

Since the World financial crisis of 2008 I guess people are not willing to pay the big $$ anymore. I remember that around 7 or so years ago I was paying this kind of money for the GTX8800 Ultra !!! Also remembered paying $550 au for BFG 680i mobo. Now situation is different 'Married with children' ...... If you see the sitcom you know exactly what i mean .....

I'm willing to pay 450 euros for a top range single GPU card, it has always been like that, but 1000 euros... don't make me laugh.

K20, 320bit bus, 2496 SP, 5Gb GDDR5. I dont see them release it as a 780 ... because they cant decline it under.. this sku will allready have 2 SMX disable ( Titan, as the K20 have one disable allready ) 700-749$ min..

they will not use this one as a 780.. or at least not if they could sell it as 750$.

Tesla GK110 are limited in production quantity and they cant push a card like that in the 500$ price point without eventually damage the Tesla production.
