Apple has today announced the iPhone 5S and 5C smartphones, both running iOS 7. With better photo-taking capabilities and A6 (5C) and A7 (5S) processors, the new iPhones feature upgraded networking ab... Apple Announce The iPhone 5S and 5C
I might get a pink 5C for my mom and a gold 5S for myself Until then, I eagerly wait for the iOS 7 release
Paying for a phone while on a contract is alien to most of us here on the UK, I don't know anyone with an iPhone or any other phone who didn't get it for free. They are paying £30-40 a month though. As for these, seem like really good phones but as long as the screen size is "small" I doubt I would consider one, I'm also heavily invested in Android now.
the fingerprint scanner is a nice addition, but apart from it, there is nothing else worth a look, maybe the 64bit cpu in 5 years
This is why I like Google phones so much. I can spend £200, and it's mine to do as I want. I can even go Pay As You Go if I wanted.
I don't know almost anyone by me that has a contract. Here, you buy your phones full price and separately, but you are able to switch between providers at will and keep your number.
Oh yeah change of law. And it depends on the provider, some are cheaper than $200 for the S4, some probably give it out for free on a contract, depending on what kind of ludicrous bull**** contract it is. Either way I find even $200 on a 2 year contract to be ridiculous considering how much money they're making. ... But you're missing that Apple charges up to $400 on contract for more storage while with the S4 (or almost anything else) you can just pay $40 and put in a 64GB micro SD card.
Samsung are no better than Apple though they are also making huge amount of money, alot more than HTC who i think arguably make better phones. The SD card thing won't be around forever on Android though, Google don't like it and tend to put pressure on people to remove it. Wouldn't buy an iPhone myself though due to reasons mentioned above as well as enjoying rooting etc...but i have no problem with people who do, it's their money so why should they not buy stuff they like?
The SD card debate again? Sorry but all you can do is use it for music, movies and pictures. It doesn't let you use it for apps iirc. While I'm not defending the $100 per storage increase that Apple pulls on every iPhone they have ever made (this is not a new development) I personally don't need more than 16GB storage on my phone i stream all my movies via the internet and same with my music library unlimited data.
I put a 64gb micro sd card that cost me like $59 bucks at walmart. music and movies on the go. the 16gb internal memory is only about 10gb for apps etc. this is on a galaxy note 2.
