AFx16 slowing ~ 2.5% , while last 174.88 did only 1.5% FPS slowdown... Good IQ so far ,but performance is not so great ;)

    use rivatuners driver emulation mode
in the power user tab, expand Rivatuner\System and look down the list for ForceDriverVersion, enter 444d (17485 in hex), then ok to exit.
reopen rivatuner and it should be in driver emulation mode.
it won't show the driver file versions, but you can still use the overclocking sliders etc.

H/T to xFastest for the leak. Here are some mirrors for the XP32 version:

    174.93 XP32 English (40.3MB)

    MediaFire

    eSnips

    RapidShare

    174.93 XP32 International (71.3MB)

    MediaFire

Changes from the original leaked version:

    1) removed all OEM INFs and files for laptop GPUs
    2) removed all Azalia/HDMI audio components
    3) created an English version
    4) replaced the "xFastest" splash screen bitmap w/ the usual "nvidia" bitmap

Original INF for non-mobile GPUs untouched as it supports all cards GF5-9 already (except the International-related entries were removed in the English version). See this thread for the other 174 series drivers: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=255831

Yeh, I uninstalled previous, however I did not use the setup program, I used "Update Driver" for both cards in Device Manager and then rebooted, and then went to turn on SLI once back in xp. Why the screen stayed black was probably because of "Faulting application nvcplui.exe, version 1.5.2400.2, faulting module nvcpl.dll, version 6.14.11.7493, fault address 0x001ce21f," I noticed in Event Viewer. But that's ok, I will try again if testers find it solves the very common video playback corruption/freeze issue on 7x0i chipset based motherboards.

Does these actually work with Windows Server 2008 64 bit?

I tired the 174.88 ones yesterday, but they simply didn't work.
I have no idea why, it was not because the *.inf since the driver started to install, but at the end it just said "nothing has been changed on your system" and the there was no sign of the driver at all..

So I had to go back to 174.85..

These drivers still give me an error of missing resolutions and missing refresh rates. This has been with EVERY driver I try above the force ware 163.76. So the only driver I can use on my system is 163.76.

Pretty annoying, anyone got a solution for me on how to fix it?

    My specs are,
    8800gts 320mb
    Intel conroe e8200 2.66ghz
    4gb ddr2 800mhz
    nvidia 680i
    650w power supply
    Windows xp x64

Try this: look for a heading in the INF named [nv_SoftwareDeviceSettings] and overwrite the entire section that begins with "HKR,, NV_Modes, %REG_MULTI_SZ%," with the following code:
    Code:
    HKR,, NV_Modes, %REG_MULTI_SZ%, "{*}S 720x480 720x576=1;720x576=8032;320x200 320x240 400x300 480x360 512x384 640x400=F;SHV 1920x1080x32 1920x1200x32 1920x1440 2048x1536=1F;640x480 800x600 848x480 960x600 1024x768x8,16 1088x612x8,16=1FFF;1600x1024x32 1600x1200x32 1920x1080x8,16 1920x1200x8,16=3F;1280x720x32 1280x768x32 1280x800x32 1280x960x32 1280x1024x32 1360x768x32 1600x900x8,16=3FF;1600x900x32 1600x1024x8,16 1600x1200x8,16=7F;"
    HKR,, NV_Modes, %REG_SZ_APPEND%, "1152x864x32 1280x720x8,16 1280x768x8,16 1280x800x8,16 1280x960x8,16 1280x1024x8,16 1360x768x8,16=7FF;1920x1080=C01E;1024x768x32 1088x612x32 1152x864x8,16=FFF;{40-302,311-327,330-344,390-7E3}SHV 1680x1050=1;{308-309,32A-32B,34E}SH 960x1200=803D;"

Will this also restore my missing hertz options?
And I don't really know much about editing inf' files. Should I overwrite the inf after the installation in my windows32 folder or before in the installation map?

Those are the modes from 163.76, so basically what you're doing is overwriting the modes in 174.93 w/ the ones from 163.76. You'll need to overwrite the modes section under [nv_SoftwareDeviceSettings] only (the heading should look exactly like that). The others are for other cards. You'll need to reinstall the driver after editing that section of the INF.
