Hi guys, the Afterburner 3.0.0 Beta 7 is ready for you to download. this version supports the control of NVIDIA and AMD graphics card, if you get the card, you may try to play it.

    Change list:

    • Added core voltage control for reference design AMD RADEON 7870 XT graphics cards with CHL8225 voltage regulators
    • Added core voltage control for cost down reference design AMD RADEON 7770 graphics cards with uP1609 voltage regulators
    • Added limited core voltage control for reference design AMD RADEON 7850 graphics cards
    • RestoreAfterSuspendedMode configuration file switch is no longer undocumented, now it is enabled by default and accessible via GUI in "General" tab in "Compatibility properties" section
    • Added French localization
    • Recompiled kernel mode driver to bypass false positive in driver verifier

I appreciate you guys allowing voltage support for the 7870 XT cards to be patched in, and I'm sure many XT owners will too!

    Cheers

    Hi Unwinder,

Thanks for updating the shared memory. It seems to work great after a few quick tests!

I do have one question though. I still don't see any changes for the new Titan features in the header files. I assume MAHM will stay the same, but will MACM be getting any updates for temp limit, etc?

    Thanks again!
    Nick

Thanks for confirming, Nick. Yes, updated MACM header will be included in the next verison. In meanwhile you can create it yourself:

    Code:

    Cool!
Thank you for posting Beta versions again.

P.S. There is a typo in first post, it says "Beta 6".

Hi is it possible to add the -xcl command to the GUI? Unofficial OC causes flickering and corruption on ATI cards like the 6900 and 7900...

    Thx

I doubt that you tried new version. First, there is workaround for flicker. Second, clock limit extension us in GUI.

I'm using beta 7 atm, if I don't enable unofficial OC the clocks don't ramp up in 3D mode, and if I do enable UOC I get flicker.

EDit: this is with constant voltage selected btw.

I should add beta 6 did not have this issue.

Peek into General tab and read context help for new options carefully. And there are no changes in oc between beta BTW.

Context isn't working for some reason.

If you're referring to driver reset option if that's enabled it resets every time clocks switch from 2D to 3D.

Think I'll just reinstall the older build.

Tooltips have never worked for me, only way I can read them is to open help files with a txt editor.
