i think the standard should be 1280x1024 AT LEAST. that is possibly the middleground between people with fast cpus and no gpu bottleneck and visa versa. default settings, no control panel tweaks. "let application decide" settings only. post scores now.

for simplicity's sake. no one use dx11. windows 7 only and not only that. ati only. dx10 or dx9. the dx11 is only for your own enjoyment as it isnt REALLY finished yet when u think about it. its eyecandy not real world. dx9 is more real world based. and dx10 is eyecandy real world.

I think that's silly. The whole point of the Bench is that it's the first DX11 one. There are countless other DX9 and DX10 benches.

it proves that the cards can do tesselation, but aren't capable of doing it at 60fps at standard resolutions.

ok guys. in default mode, dx11 is selected..and also tessallation, but my cards dont support this feature.. so, if i let it "enable" the bench will automatically run in dx10 ? (without tessallation )

defaults settings - SLI disable / defaults settings - SLI disable - tessallation disable

    --------------------------------------------------------------

DEFFINATLY the feature "tessallation" is somehow "working or helping" in the results in nvidia cards.. here is a results by selecting defaults setting in dx10

As you see, is pretty much the same like defaults setting/dx11/tess disable

ps. so as i see, in dx11 by enable tessallation delivers more fps than disable it, and my cards don´t support it.. so wtf..

ps. i also note the only one of my core were at 100% the other at 40% max

ps. yeah i know about the cpu bottelneck, but my new PII 720 x3 arrives next week..

it will run in Dx11 mode, without tesselation. Dx11 mode is mostly Dx10 anyway.

anyway mate, theres a +/- 5% error margin with FPS. the difference between tesselation on and off is within it.

  8. For DX11 Tessellation is enabled.

First three are with 4xAA 16xAF, last two are No AA 4xAF. (Refused to launch in DX9 without AA and 4xAF.)

Oh goodness. Here it comes guys!

Bodar, I always wondered how your array of These would do with this benchmark. :D

Sorry, I meant your room full of These.

You are the man, man! *high fives*

Great stuf Bodar! Impressive, i hope we see faster CPU's and better drivers soon so the 5800 series will show its real potential. I mean quad fire needs two Xenon's overclocked:)

  20. Very nice, Bodar.
