How many hd's do you have on your main desktop?

    Samsung 830 "128GB" for OS and basic apps = 119GB, 105GB free.

    Hitachi "320GB" for the rest = 298GB, 226GB free.

    As you can see, even this is overkill for my usage, I'm not games/movies/ehm torrents junkie :p.

    Most of the used spaces goes for music.

    2 500GBs which were in raid0 long time ago, but I the benefits over the negative aspects weren't worth it.
    And a single 2TB drive for storage, plus a 160gb external one.

    I only have:
    2x 500 GB Seagate 7200rpm = storage
    80 GB Seagate 7200rpm = OS
    160 GB Hitachi Laptop Drive 5200 rpm = used as a removable drive as backup for my important stuff
