turn physx off

    how do i turn phyx off..completely in 258.96
    can only see options for my 2 460's or cpu (many ive had to much brandy):boozer::boozer:

    You can't actually disable PhysX. All you can do is decide which handles PhysX....be it the CPU or the GPU.

    ..or just deinstall it. But some games require Physx even if they do not utilize it at all.

    yer ou can actually un-install phys x, goto the install directory and click un-isntall.....problem solved but i dont see why u wud want it gone

    dont wanna uninstall it cos some of my games wont start
    with out it ... so whats the best setting for an SLI set up ???

    For SLI I would leave it at auto because the driver will shift PhysX work between the cards due to their workload. I had it that way for a long time and it worked well.

    You can use NV Physx Tweaker to fastly change from CPU to GPU physics.
