I've taken this comment, extrapolated the hidden message contained within, and will be posting the implied benchmarks later.

...which will, in turn, be accepted as "facts" and "news" on teh interwebz. :)

Well i'm going to pay no more than 900 euros if the performance is the same or slightly less than the GTX690.

Why will the memory bandwidth be weak and only little increased on GTX 780 to compare than GTX 580????

Exactly...a case of "you're screwed" from both sides. We're charged a service fee in the form of interest by the credit card companies directly, now we'll be charged by some stores for using our credit/debit cards... Long run, this will have a negative impact on stores that want to charge consumers for using credit cards. This is what happens when a country is run by corporate greed....

Appartly. I have a couple weeks to buy the extended warranty on my cards necessary to step up. Do you think that's a wise decision? To get the extended warranty for the 75 days remaining on the step up?

Because the bandwidth will be almost 50% higher??
Which (non-released) GTX 780 are you referring to exactly?

Well its a limited edition product. The hype over it alone will ensure its sold out in the limited quantities its produced. I doubt Nvidia is looking at it as a money making card in itself. Its sole purpose is brand recognition, to ensure that people see an Nvidia card at the top of the single GPU benchmark charts, which they hope will spur sales for the rest of their GPU business.

But of course, timing, context, and implied posture all point in this direction.

You dont have to update now my friend. you have a 460 in SLI , that should be enough to play all todays games high res, AA and AF , high quality.

only crysis 2 and BF3 pownz your SLI connection.. so rest relax,,,,,,,, and think of a more reasonable upgrade like a SSD. gl

You can upgrade when BF4 and Crysis 3 come out. and put ultra high quality
    16xAA AF16x etc..........gl :stewpid:
