    I'm really glad you have been allowed to open a new thread. I really hope the mods will keep this thread as clean as possible, it would be really nice.

    I'm pretty sure all the gamers here can't wait to get their hands on your work.

    Yes i already knew that. The issue is no one did good scripting and found a way to let settings work. Which with effort i actually did with a lot of settings. Im still figuring out some others and that one as well.

    I will upload a beta XML+game files to let people that wants to help have fun with it and maybe we discover more stuff.

    The dynamic shadows already have in the game (you can notice that mission we see Quinn for the first time). Ubisoft... Hmm.

    What are you talking about? In the cutscenes the shadows are enable because are optimized so there are no fps drops. But the many of the lights including the headlights of the cars are disabled because of the lag it would produce.

    Anyways if kadzait want to really REALLY make a difference with his "mod" he should modify the precompiled shaders by dumping them into a folder, and make a wrapper or something to enable hidden shaders etc like the commands...

    #define E3_TUNING
    #define E3_TUNING_SUBSURFACE

    You are pretty limited by placing commands into the gameprofile.xml file.

    Yes it works anywhere as this time i modified game files, by adding patch.dat/fat.

    That way the engine takes all modifications by itself, no need to place any command/setting at the xml file. Thats why you can use the XML normally, the mod will do its labor by itself.

    The readme says to put it in the watchdogs folder in My Games

    Do you not mean the profile folder inside of the watchdogs folder?

    Named with lots of random characters?

    This one?

    Yes, it says :

    Place GamerProfile.xml at the My documents My Games folder for the game.

    As "folder for the game" i meant that folder, since sometimes some people will have other folder, to not make confusion.
