This is all about nvidia vs amd. I am not a fan boy of red or green team, but when i check a great numbers of reviews which claim something I think this is true. Than when I checked it by myself it proofs to be indeed.

Can you post that great number of reviews that compare an overclocked hd 7950 vs an overclocked gtx 760 please?

Sure, my 3DMark 11 graphics score is 11,446. Good luck finding a 760 which will beat that.

I can't remember what my 3DMark 13 score is, but it's a lot higher than 7970GHz....posted in relevant thread if anyone is interested.

Can you post said benchmarks which show an overclocked 7950 vs 760. Thanks.

7950 would walk over the 760 on bandwidth alone......

^It will clock up to 1700mhz.

I agree the 650 it boost is a good card but only if you can get it around $130 it's not worth $165.

thats an awful good score for a 760, is that your 3dmark 11 on your other system? shows what gk104 can do with 7ghz on the vram only 1152 shaders too

No I pulled that from futuremark's site I've been thinking about replaceing the 6970 in the living room rig it's gonna be a 760 or a 7950 just have not made up my mind yet.

I've seen a few 760 hitting some really high clocks like 1346-1360 area GK104 has matured nicely or cutting those two SMX clusters of the die help make them more stable at high clocks.

I have a better idea, purchase a 5$ screw. Go into a computer store, and screw one bolt out of the backside of a computer, wait a few minutes between each unscrewing, then when all of them have finally been undone. Proceed to rip their graphics card out and go home! You will save over 150$ GOOD DEAL!

    Definitely.

I had a look for some 660's (non TI) incase the OP prefered Nvidia, but you're looking at the same price as HD7950's, with a PNY reference card hitting 165 after rebate. There was a Gigabyte with an after market cooler for $179.99, but the fact is the 7870's are still cheaper and generally perform that little bit better. I just can't justify recommending that sort of price / performance.

Are you kidding, that score is complete bullshlt. You didn't wonder why it beat every other 760 bench by a country mile?

As they say; if something is too good to be true, it usually is.....

Have another close look at the results. - then join the rest of us here on earth. ;)
