I didn't try with a lower clock, I just got the installer and ran the benchmark at 24/7 clocks to see how it would run Though I don't think CPU speed matters much here. I'll rerun it @ 7200 for the 680's RAM to see if it's not the mighty memory bandwidth. Back in a few EDIT : Well, lost 100 points (2.4 FPS average) with mem @ 7200 instead of 7600. http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/6091/valley2.png System RAM speed helps to get higher avg min FPS and CPU speed helps for higher avg max FPS, so it could be just that (plus Z77 mobo).
thanks for that, I am just under that score running 4.7ghz, 1866 ram 1306/7200. I`ll run her again tomorrow at 5.1ghz 2133 ram. and up the core and memory speed. 7400 or so should be ok for a bench run
No problem TK. I guess you'll get an equal or higher score then ! I'm interested in seeing your results.

Running benchmark with the settings & hardware you see on the left. I have Intel Speed Step enabled, but have an OC of 4.0 ghz. Extreme Extreme HD
I saw a video of this last night but haven't had the chance yet to download it and try it for myself. Looks very pretty; all it needs is some song from The Sound of Music playing and it'd be perfect because that was the first thing that came into my head when I watched the YouTube vid! "The hills are alive... with the sound of music!".
beautiful benchmark, really love the atmosphere and the lighting (especially when it rains with sunlight bouncing off)
