Portal 2 saw massive slow down and BF3 got chopper with these drivers. Went back to 285 and instant performance gain. :(

Can't they just release the new SLI profiles instead of whole new drivers?

    Are u have Realtek`s lan??
I had some issue on X58 platform (ga-x58a-ud7) with Realtek lan. U can try roll back driver for lan to windows`s driver

SWTOR's performance issues are probably due to the terrible game engine rather than drivers.

Wow, really?! I didn't try it yet with this driver but with previous ones I'd get a choppy slowdown whenever lasers were in the scene. Doesn't sound like any fix was made, then. (Works perfectly fine with 275.33.)

Who do you call to make a game that has essentially minimal activity on screen actually perform worse? nvidia!! :wanker:

Oh no argument here-- I haven't encountered an issue of stability with ANY nvidia driver for SWTOR. In my previous post I was referring to performance improvements- something sorely needed for SWTOR no matter where it comes from.

    Game Resolution Scaling

I have a similar problem with screen not being centered & the auto adjust not fixing it really. My solution was in the Nvidia control panel, go to Display, then go to Adjust Destop Size & Positions. Under the Scaling option I had Aspect Ratio, Changed to No Scaling. Problem Fixed.. Hope that helps.

after reboot or coming out of standby, my computer goes to low resolution, and device manager gives me a code 43 error and says Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems...I have to disable and re-enable to driver to fix the issue. This sux bad because my fps in Skyrim shot up like 50-60% updating to this driver....

Only tested BF3 so far. I can now select any quality under video settings without having the game crash on me. Still running it on low settings, that said. :p

as we speak mines jumping around between full 3d/low 3d and 2d, i have winamp playing and aida64 window open so may be those, if i set firefox to max performance the clocks stay high but up to now i have 0 crashes and all videos (youtube) ect play well without stuttering

I just started my computer again after having it off since I posted earlier today and it's still working fine at 51mhz.

Maybe it's firefox. I'm using Chrome. I dropped firefox after using it for 6 years or something because it had never ending youtube/flash problems and spontaneous crashes...it can't hurt to try it.

Winamp has always been super light weight but I haven't used it in a few years so I can't comment on that.

    @Rodpunisher

I'm using 1 HDMI output to my receiver. Maybe it's a DVI thing, although I was using DVI-D + HDMI for a long time, one to my TV and one to my receiver and I've never experienced 2d clock bugs.

I'm not using inspector though, just NVCP.

    O.T

This worked first installation for me, I didn't even have to reboot when I installed it.

Well, I will be giving these another chance for Battlefield 3, as most claim they have great performance.

I think I will also try to mess with the "RenderAheadLimit" on the Battlefield 3 user.cfg file and see if lowering it from 3 to 2 or even 1 or 0 helps. :)
