I would hope it would be quite a bit faster then card comparable to 1070. But if AMD simply doesn't know how to do professional cards oh wey.

More and more I suspect AMD is pulling another 2900xt. Brutal power consumption, brutal price, but average performance.

Seems to say max board TDP 300W for air cooled and 375W for liquid cooled in the small image comparing to Titan Xp which has 250W TDP.

    Interesting.

Also this still Pixel Fillrate 90 Gpixels/s means it would be under 1400mhz while that 13.1 tflops says it would be 1600mhz.

New DP for 4k HDR 144Hz

    ===
Personally im waiting for some Gaming Benchmarks in ~20Games

Also i have some news that ATI Driver Team has finished polishing Driver for VEGA (IMO Some mile stone has been reached)
Next couple of weeks we can expect some true leaks about gaming performance in 4k/1440p

IO-Intercative is now an independent studio, owns the full rights to the Hitman IP

IO Interactive has just announced that it is now officially an independent studio. This basically means that the studio will have complete control over its direction and the Hitman IP. Yeap, you read that right; IO Interactive will keep all of the rights to the Hitman IP.

As Hakan, Studio Head at Io-Interactive, said:

“I am proud to announce today that IOI is now officially an independent studio. We have successfully concluded our negotiations with Square Enix and have agreed to a management buyout. Crucially, we will keep all of the rights to the Hitman IP.

This is a watershed moment for IOI. As of today, we have complete control over the direction for our studio and the Hitman IP – we’re about to forge our own future and it’s incredibly exciting. We are now open to opportunities with future collaborators and partners to help strengthen us as a studio and ensure that we can produce the best games possible for our community.”

Our guess is that IO Interactive will keep working on the second season of Hitman for the time being.

Nevertheless, this is great news for IO Interactive.

With a TDP that high, doesn't look like much room left for overclocking. This might be starting to resemble the Fury line of cards again.

But then again max board TDP should be way higher then typical board TDP. Which could very well be 225-250 for example.

I'll leave this here since it looks like you forgot that TDP is specification of cooling solution and not of chip it is cooling.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermal_design_power
Same way Fury X cooling solution had huge headroom. Usual gaming temperature is around 50~52°C.

I'm reserve judgment in tell official benchmarks come out
Keep in mind that Workstation GPU's add more hardware in pack in side of them, such as error correcting VRAM (not just ECC RAM) etc and they are used in applications that have radically different requirements. So any watch this GeForce vs Quadro as Fast As Possible

    AMD RX Vega

AMD will reportedly begin shipping final RX Vega silicon to its board partners as early as this week to finalizes their custom card designs. These custom AIB RX Vega cards are said to begin shipping between late July and early August.

The gaming Radeon RX Lineup lineup will reportedly include at least two products. These will be based on a fully enabled Vega 10 XT GPU and a cut down Vega 10 Pro version. Although it’s unclear at this point if there will be a third binned Vega 10 GPU or if AMD will release other products based on the previously mentioned Vega 10 XT and Pro GPUs.

Vega graphics cards are among AMD’s most eagerly anticipated products. Hardware enthusiasts, gamers and professional content creators all have something to look forward to with these new high performance graphics chips and for good reason. They’re based on AMD’s entirely new Vega graphics architecture which brings more than a dozen new features to the table, improved gaming, content creation & AI performance as well as improved power efficiency.

AMD will be debuting its first product based on the Vega architecture, the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition, next week. The Frontier Edition parts have been specifically designed with creators and ultra enthusiast users in mind. They feature the full-fat Vega 10 XT GPU with 64 compute units and AMD has equipped them with the highest capacity High Bandwidth Memory stacks available which means they come standard with a whopping 16GB of HBM2.

Apple announced earlier in the month that it will be leveraging the impressive workstation capabilities of AMD’s Vega chips in its upcoming iMac Pro via the Radeon Pro Vega 64 and Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics accelerators. These will be available in December, will feature 64 and 56 compute units respectively and 16GB and 8GB of HBM2 respectively.
    AMD Radeon RX Vega

The gaming oriented RX Vega products will likely be based on the same Vega 64 and Vega 56 silicon. Which explains why HWBattle reports that there will be two Vega 10 GPUs in the RX Vega lineup. Gamers will be able to get their hands on RX Vega cards in late July when they launch at Siggraph.
These parts will be specifically optimized for games and according to Radeon graphics guru Raja Koduri they will be even faster than the Frontier Edition (15-25% TBA).

    CRYENGINE & New APIs

New Push Coming to GitHub - CE 5.4 Sneak Peek

As many of you know, the CRYENGINE GitHub has been subject to issues that were out of our control, lately and it has been a while since we could push a new update. As we managed to get around most of the problems now, we are celebrating with a nice sneak peek of what's coming in 5.4 with today's push!

    The return of the (Git)Hub

We encountered an issue with GitFusion whereby it would hang when updating our repositories. Development continued unchanged via Perforce, but we were unable to mirror these changes to GitFusion, and therefore unable to keep GitHub updated. Perforce are investigating and have provided us with a temporary workaround that has enabled us to once again mirror development to GitHub. Unfortunately we will not be able to have such rapid updates as originally planned (we were aiming for weekly), but the granularity of the changes within each update will remain the same.

    Vulkan renderer

Following on from the renderer refactoring and DirectX 12 implementation, the team has been hard at work implementing a Vulkan renderer. The code can be seen in Code/RenderDll/XRenderD3D9/Vulkan/… although the feature is not functional, yet. We want to make these changes available to you for review whilst we are currently stabilizing the engine for our 5.4 release. So you can track our progress on GitHub until 5.4 is finally here by the end of July.

AMD Radeon RX Vega price will be 'excellent' AMD rumored to have 'excellent' pricing on Radeon RX Vega.

We are living and breathing for everything we can handle on Radeon RX Vega, but now the latest tease is that AMD will have "excellent" pricing on Radeon RX Vega. amd-radeon-rx-vega-price-excellent_06 According to the Bits And Chips Twitter account, which tweeted: "Forget about VEGA in Enterprise market.
Next AMD game changer will be NAVI (EPYC:CPU=NAVI:GPU). However, VEGA price will be excellent". I have personally heard that Navi will be a game changer from my own sources, but haven't heard anything about cheap pricing on Radeon RX Vega. This is because HBM2 isn't cheap, especially compared to GDDR5 that's used on the Radeon RX 500 series.

If AMD could price the GTX 1080 Ti competitor in the new Radeon RX Vega family at $499, this is a game changer. $599 and it better beat the GTX 1080 Ti and have a large amount of stock to sell against the $699+ on GTX 1080 Ti... but if there's only a few thousand, NVIDIA will continue to win because it has massive numbers of AIB partners with multiple GTX 1080 Ti models on the market already. $699 is the price of the GTX 1080 Ti, so AMD really can't price Radeon RX Vega here without shooting themselves in the foot.

However, there are multiple Radeon RX Vega graphics cards being launched, so maybe we're talking about the GTX 1080 competitor that AMD could price at $399.
It could beat the GTX 1080 at 1080p and 1440p, but keep up with the GTX 1080 Ti (which is $699+) in 4K and above?
This could leave the more expensive RX Vega handling 4K 60FPS in everything thanks to higher GPU and HBM2 clocks, and I'm guessing much more power - up to 300W.
