ATT beta version (UNICODE support)

Build 1.6.9.1340 - when trying to set up a profile - using custom setting both the drop-downs for AA and AF are garbled and can't be set

 

same here: since Unicode Versions Antialiasing & Anisotropic Settings aren´t working correctly. In both cases you get only one chooseable option with cryptic signs.

Another thing: Let me inform you that beta ATTs are running with Crossfire on XP and older than HD3XXX. I enabled Crossfire through Catalyst Control Center and it works. ATT -> Hardware -> Crossfire shows CF enabled too. Not tested yet if that switch works...

Hi Ray,

Would it be possible to re-introduce "Video Card Memory Usage" to the OnScreen Display?
I find it very useful when working out optimum performance in some games, and how many 3rd party Textures I can get away with in Oblivion! ;-)

Also, if we're talking about potential translation, the current version uses American English rather than International / British English (eg. Color rather than Colour). Care for a translator? ;-)

Thats strange. Let me remove some old decoding units from ATT which seems is not compatible with UNICODE yet. Need a time to write new ones.

Second, the old italian translation, encoded as unicode, works also in this beta

 

Post your translation somewhere so I can download it and include in release.

As I told before I can not convert all languages because I don't have support for all of them.

+ Fixed bug when ATT unable to start if there no previously used language .ini file exists in LNG folder.
+ Updated some parts of ATT to fix error when in AA/AF comboboxes you see some scrap instead of numbers. I can not check it because I have no problems with it. Anyone with this bug please check and report of results.

 

Nothing changed. Tried after uninstalling Catalyst 8.9, using Driver Cleaner PE and installing Catalyst 8.10 beta.

Give me some additional information
OS,
OS Languages
and your default regional settings (only what language also support for non-unicode apps)

Also please just open to check any Advanced tweaks databases. In that part ATT also uses RegExp unit which may be still doesn't fully UNICODE aware.

 

- Windows XP SP3 x86
- german language on Windows
- regional- and language settings are set to german, even for non-unicode software
- advanced tweaks: no problems to see

it will be for the next version : the french.ini in UNICODE

Not sure what you mean by this. Regarding Video RAM Usage in the OSD being put back in? I have read pretty much all the previous posts since the HD4xxx beta was posted and don't recall anything relevant. I'm sorry if I've missed something. Could you point me in the right direction?

Also, regarding a British English translation, do you simply want the english.ini altered then posted for you?

with 1.6.9.1340, when I press Bench or Show 3D Renderer
there is no "plane" on the blue screen, just a blue screen :3eyes:

I get that too. Worked fine before I tried a UNICODE Beta.
