Hi, so im thinking of new LCD. I found 3 very interesting models, but now I just dont know anymore. All 3 sound very good and each with its special "feature".. 1. EIZO FS2333-BK (~320€) http://www.eizo.com/global/products/foris/fs2333/index.html -IPS, 3.4ms G2G, 10-Bit-Look-Up-Table 2. ASUS VG23AH (290€) http://www.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/VG23AH/#overview -IPS, 5ms G2G, 3D ready 3. Dell U2412H (260€) http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&sku=320-2676 -IPS, 1920x1200, 8ms G2G Im kinda leaning towards EIZO, any extra suggestions?
Has the price dropped for the Eizo monitor, or is the store you're looking at trying to overcharge for it? The RRP is 290€, and RRP's are usually on the high side anyway!
^ I found only 2 stores that has this monitor here and yes that's the cheapest price for it, actually its lowered from 440€ xD @ ibitato Thanks, yes that's what i thought so too, i think i'll grab me this Eizo . Although that Asus looks interesting with its 3D vision ready technology (and IPS).
Hi, So my new monitor has finnaly arrived (Made in Japan :>) and in one word: it Owns! Nice colors, ICC profile at their webpage, MS has automatically downloaded proper driver. Lots of functions and sharpen effects, friendly eco modes, has HDMI too, but im at DVI atm. Remote control has all important functions and i can set all parameters through it. The only thing that's kinda "dissapointing" is I can't adjust its height much, but 60mm isn't that bad either. Im very very happy with it. Well worth 300€ Some screens but my old phone makes VERY crappy pictures - too noisy.. need a better phone next Highly recommended.
Yeah but you and I also will buy OLED monitor for "hiper-slim", very light and no motion blur but unfortunately only 2015~2020 because our world has only OLED TV (not monitor-PC). I keep CRT 21" until buy OLED.
^ Thanks @Richardonuno1980 What are you rambling about? I didnt say its to thick, but its height adjustment can be set only for 6cm. btw Its a IPS LED, i would never go back to CRT. I started using LCD back in 2004? and its the best thing i ever did. And LED vs OLED is not important, OLED makes the image overbright, http://www.flickr.com/photos/oled-display/6767110783/ this monitor has such feature as well - overbright overcolored image.. But I dont like it though. Anyway here is a nice in depth review for those interested. http://www.prad.de/en/monitore/review/2012/review-eizo-foris-fs2333-bk.html#Introduction
not richardonuno1980 but ricardonuno1980 (Ricardo Nuno ) Ok. LED: not pixel but yes backlight only. Therefore, you have LCD-LED monitor. OLED gets NOT overbright because bad images recorded by the phone w/ camera or camcorder cause overbright and it's NATURAL light and color = excellent and amazing. OLED is (much) better than any technology (LCD-LED and Plasma)
Ok Ricardo.. Fine, lets not go to offtopic. Im happy with this LED-LCD or what ever it is, all i know its great and it exceeded my expectations. ...... To others go get this monitor it rocks, cu.
