As the topic says guys, what has happened with the last few chapters of Black Mesa? It's been almost a year & there has been no news or announcements of the ending.

Anybody care to share any news or when it's expected to release?

Since September 14? It's also been greenlighted on Steam...no release news there either as of yet.

^ Dam. I was eager to finish Black Mesa. We can only hope they finish the game...

Kind of blowing it out or proportion, aint we?

A year? Not really. It was released in September last year, it's only May. That's about seven months.
And really, since it's free... is there really an issue with having to wait?

Personally, I hated Xen in Half-Life. And I love how Black Mesa ends right now. If you play Black Mesa through now, then start HL2... it syncs up really well as is.

I remember jumping was **** in the mod ... hopefully it is normal in the final release. Whenever that is.

    Some of those as well
I'll be buying the Greenlit version. After all, the mod is a fantastic bit of work.
Been a while since I played it but I remember what you mean! Anything taller than an amputee midget was impossible to vault over!

I hope they mean the upcoming Source update that adds full 64-bitb and DirectX 11.

Yes, you had to jump-crouch every single jump in the game.
The original Half-Life used the jump-crouch for specific puzzles/sections. Black Mesa made it so you had to use it for every single time you had to jump.

The only occasional dev updates on the forum are new higher res textures from a single team member.
