Hi, my pc has been running great for a long while, it suddenly started randomly restarting while playing games, so i figured it might be overheating.
I opened it up took out the cpu heatsink, graphics card, and memory and cleaned everything. I put the heatsink back after cleaning and removing the old thermal paste, and put new paste on.

Now i have very low FPS in all games, i have tried reseating the graphics card and memory several times but it hasn't helped. This has happened to me before after reformatting my hard drive, and it usually rights itself after while, but this has never happened after just removing every thing before.

Fps in eg... rfactor was over 100, now its down to 30, any ideas what might be going on?

    Cheers.

Check ur bios, the cpu clock, etc.

u might have a bad powersupply.

they can kill parts slowly, then.....bam.....
