Not good at all for me. Second card runs only 1-4% when other runs 99%, in Far cry 3.
    Back to 310.70.

    That's quite sad really, R304 outperforming R310.

    Wait what? :bang:

So are these drivers using older code than the recent v310.90 as the version number suggests or are they actually newer? I'd hazard a guess at them being older otherwise NVIDIA would have released them as v310.91 or higher but it is still a little confusing, particularly as I saw ManuelG mention earlier on this week (or late last week) that there was a new driver imminent.

I think there is one coming as these are not a big thing.

There is a big drop in performance. before FPS was locked in at 120fps(maxfps) but now it dips to low 60s., which is not playable

I try install this driver, BAM !!! it's nice and smooth on BF3 all day long.

Nvidia still working on 30x.xx series driver for older video cards.

Any 310.xx drivers are for newer card.

I have it locked to 120fps too and the lowest I saw was ~ 85fps, but i use DOF at medium with 16xcsaa @ 1080p.

You didn't forget to enable SLI did you ? If not, have you tried using nvidia inspector and resetting farcry 3 back to defaults? If neither of these are the problem, you could force AFR2.

maxed @ 2560x1440 w/ 16xCSAA + 4xSSAA, low dof. Never went below 120 fps. but then again 304 set doesn't contain the improvements from 310. gonna have to wait for 313 or w/e is next

Ok, well idk it ran good here, those lowest fps drops were due to my cpu bottleneck. I had the same with r310..

Yes im also looking forward to next branch, hopefully it really fixes all those BF3 issues that started with r310.

I did enable SLI and i set prefer performance in Nvidia control panel. I all so set few other thing for best image quality and still these drivers didn't share drawing load equally. Go figure.

DmC Demon May cry, is running really well "fps" wise, but the game is like using 60% of both gpu´s in SLI and 99% gpu usage with SingleGpu enabled. So this game, as it is a "AMD Gaming Evolved" licensed game, I guess the developers have made it run really "bad" on nvidia hardware? Its running at 60fps, but no game with UE3, have ever utilized gpu usage as this game does? EVen Borderlands 2 with physx at high use less gpu? :) But, other than that my GPU´s run very hot with this game, its still running at solid 60fps, thats really all that matters. But hopefully Nvidia can optimize the game/drivers more in the near future?

    60% usage on a 670SLI system?! Damn! You're playing at 1080p? AA?

With a single card on DmC I get 150-250FPS on the 310.90 drivers, GPU usage fluctuates from 99 to 85 or so but it doesn't cause any stuttering or anything.

Yes im at 1080p, and have all the "HD" settings enabled, and all other settings at ULTRA, and yes the game looks fantastic! But not so fantastic that explains this issue, so Im pretty sure this high gpu utilisation problem will be only on Nvidia hardware, thx to AMD Gaming Evolved. ;)

Any AMD users here tried the game?

Im using Vsync, with 60fps its really smooth and no stuttering either. With SLI enabled usage fluctuates from 55-80%, so its definitely the game that is poorly optimized with NVIDIA, or just a buggy game? Would be fun to see what the AMD users are getting in this game? But hopefully they will fix it soon, as sure the game runs really well while gaming and that is the most important thing for me, but I also dont like to get such high temps unnecessarily! ;)
