Wow!! check gpu freq. lol http://hwbot.org/submission/2206174...e_preset_dx11_geforce_gtx_580_2661_dx11_marks

Does anyone else get some awkward looking texture color banding/shimmering when Ambient Occlusion is enabled in this benchmark?
^ yes, they messed up something.. Also now its 64bit (benchmark) and there is some strange loading stutter going on, most noticeable with Tessellation off... Idk could be nvidia specific.
Ah thanks for the info on the stuttering, I noticed it was wondering why I was getting some terrible low FPS numbers in the benchmark.
I definitely need one of those 7900 series, although I'm gonna wait until Kepler launch and then decide. With Medium Settings (No AA, AF x8, Normal Tesselation) With Max Settings (AAx8, AF x16, Extreme Tesselation)
did you get 49.5 fps AVG and 400.9 fps max? only 1 GTX 480?! wtf!?? :3eyes: but did you do overclock for this card? and you may be fake... I got at 1920x1080@8xAA-16xAF in Heaven 2.1 running Win 7 x64 SP0, AMD X6 1055T@stock and GTX 480-reference@stock with geforce 260.99WHQL driver - but on november 21, 2010. Score 675; AVG 26.8 fps; min 3.5 fps; max 59.2 fps I will try to test in new version 3.0...
yep something a bit strange when some post upper 2x 580 score 56fps with same settings. ( max 143fps ) ( untill of course the 480 is subzero cooled and extremely oc lol )
i don't overclock any of my hardware, the 400fps is a fluke, it's what you often get when any benchmark starts, some crazy initial fps, one time is 100fps the next is 1000, normal lol i got 49.5fps but the fps seem to vary a lot in V 3.0 between benchmarks, for instance i can bench and get 49, the next bench i get 35fps, the next 44 etc. also i did complain that shadows look weird on my computer in this new version, the shadows look like they're not rendered properly or something and if they aren't then this can only mean less load on my gpu hence the higher and unstable avg framerate. maybe its the drivers i'm using, 285.79, i don't like the new ones. anyway the conclusion is that v3.0 is acting up on my pc and i also read (in a post above) some people are getting banding and other issues, so it has to some kind of bug, 49fps certainly dont sound right. uke2: in Unigine v2.5 everything looks good and i get a "stable" avg of 32-33fps which sounds about right to me. also please do not compare AMD with Intel, different architecture, this makes a difference, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. now compare V2.5
@Year: lol! Stutter at 1st time startup caused minimum fps issue. lol but I changed all next scenes for remove stutter before bench and so... I got min normal.
I tried OC to 3.28GHz CPU but I got no difference (no any performance increased). but have your GTX 480 reference (=700 MHz core, 1401 shader and 1848 mem) or OC version?
